Alta Alliance Bank, headquartered in Oakland, Calif., is a community bank with a focus on businesses, professionals, nonprofit groups, faith-based organizations and individuals in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Our founders' vision was to fill a void in the financial services world by providing the high level of customer service and sophisticated product offerings businesses and consumers deserve, but have difficulty finding.

Our History

Since opening the doors of our headquarters and first office in October 2006, Alta Alliance Bank has generated excitement and success with our unique brand of banking.

As a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, one of the fastest-growing financial services organizations in the nation, we offer a broader product array and larger credit capacity than most community banks while delivering more responsive customer service than large financial institutions. We are a high-touch bank offering high-tech solutions that bring the best of both worlds to our customers.

From an initial capitalization of $25 million in 2006, Alta Alliance Bank has grown to total assets of more than $100 million in less than two years. Our headquarters and main office are located in downtown Oakland, and we have a branch office in Piedmont, which opened in February 2007.
